"Your river cam is a most welcome addition. The current shot of the flag and the bridge is

the best yet, especially on a clear day. I have tried to print it to no avail. We have docked

at your club many times to have lunch at Sunset Cove, and always appreciated the use of

"A couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine who is a member of Harlem Yacht Club and I asked

for permission to launch his Whaler off your ramp so that he could take it around to City Island.

The WIBC members present were UNFAILINGLY GRACIOUS in permitting the launch. My friend's

car subsequently died on your boat ramp, and it was 4 + hours before a wrecker responded.

Adding final insult to injury, the boat would not start and had to be temporarily berthed in an

open slip at WIBC until a mechanic could get it running. THROUGH IT ALL, WIBC WAS WONDERFUL.

I WANT TO THANK THOSE MEMBERS PRESENT ON THE DAY, AND THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP AS WELL,

FOR THE KIND OF HOSPITALITY THAT MAKES YACHTING SO VERY PLEASURABLE. Thank you.

I think you have a great web site. Why haven't you advertised it more? I just discovered it by accident.

The river cam pictures as well as the tide chart are very helpful. It's also extremely good in keeping up

"I was surprised and happy to see our new club web site. I put together some club history a couple of

years ago. I'm sure one of the club officers still has it. If you can't locate it, please let me know, I'm sure

it's still in my computer. Good luck with this new web site. I'll be back to NY in April. Mike Smacchia
